LA Lash Academy's training course will take you through 3 major stages to help you become a successful lash artist.

Language of Lashes

We will cover all types of extensions including pre-made volume fans. We will teach you how to avoid common mistakes of beginner lash techs and show you exactly how NOT to damage natural lashes. You will understand how to safely apply extensions to any client on many different types of eyelashes. We will teach you in thorough detail, proper client etiquette, aftercare, maintenance, and how to keep clients coming back. Master safety and sanitation, perfect touch ups, and removals. You will learn the 4 rules every professional eyelash technician should follow and live by to have a successful career in this industry, and so much more!

Styling

You will learn how to satisfy every client in this course. We will cover all the most popular and asked for styles on the market, such as Classic, Hybrid, and Volume. We will show you in depth how to work with different eye shapes and what types of extensions to apply to lift, open, or extend the eye. Upon leaving the course you will understand how to create different looks such as a Cat Eye, Natural, Dramatic, Wispy, and more. We believe this is the true art and creativity of a lash artist, which is why we give you many different examples and lash maps to ensure success in this industry!

Hands-on Practice

You will start off applying on a training mannequin head and progress on the second day to performing your first full set on a real person with instructor over-see and guidance. We believe that hands on is the only way to teach this skill. We want to ensure that every single student fully understands the entire process of lashing. You will learn how to set up your own station, patch and tape application, and how to safely and comfortably give the entire procedure to clients all with a patient and dedicated instructor's help. We keep our classes small to ensure you will have plenty of one on one time with the instructor during the entire course.
